Joshua Kyle Beauchamp é um jovem canadense, nascido em 31 de março de 2000, em St. Albert, Alberta, Edmonton. Filho de Ron e Ursula Beauchamp, ele tem dois irmãos, Jonah Beauchamp, mais velho e Jaden Beauchamp, mais novo.
Quando pequeno, Josh começou a sofrer bullying por ser um menino apaixonado pela arte da dança ao invés de hockey, esporte dominante no Canadá, como é esperado dos garotos do país. O preconceito e os ataques por ter se apaixonado por uma atividade "feita para garotas" fez com que ele tivesse que mudar de escola. Chegando no novo colégio, ele achou encontrar um grupo de amigos perfeito, garotos que faziam aulas de dança como ele, mas esse não foi o caso. Os meninos começaram a excluí-lo de tudo, sem motivo aparente, o fazendo acreditar que foi por inveja da quantidade de competições que ele ganhava. Ele dizia à Ursula: "Talvez eu deva ir mal e ficar em último lugar, então posso ter amigos", frase muito marcante para os fãs.
Por causa das marcas desse passado, Josh se sente ainda mais próximo do grupo que faz parte, Now United, já que foi aceito e acolhido por toda a equipe e membros, sendo quem é.

A história de Josh com a dança começou aos cinco anos, quando começou a assistir o programa 'So You Think You Can Dance' com sua mãe, Ursula Beauchamp, todos os dias. Ela percebeu o interesse que ele tinha pela arte após vê-lo tão apaixonado pelo programa, especialmente pelas performances de Benji Schwimmer, e tentando copiar os movimentos de Michael Jackson em seu vídeo-cassete de Thriller.
Então, ela decidiu colocá-lo em uma aula de dança pela primeira vez aos seus seis anos. Durante o primeiro mês inteiro de aulas, Josh ficou o tempo todo sentado, por vergonha e medo de tentar copiar os passos. Quando finalmente tomou coragem para tentar dançar, hip-hop acabou se tornando sua maior paixão.
Mais ou menos dois anos depois, Josh começou a ter bastante destaque localmente, conquistando o título de solista mais jovem a chegar nas finais em uma competição específica.
Inicialmente ele ficou preso ao hip-hop, mas assim que percebeu a necessidade de outros estilos para consolidar seu sonho, começou a ter aulas de ballet e contemporânea, aos treze anos.
Com a ajuda de coreógrafos ele teve a chance de ir para Los Angeles para convenções e aulas de dança com grandes oportunidades, saindo de St. Albert à LA duas vezes por mês (burguês safado), aumentando ainda mais sua conexão com sua mãe, que o acompanhava todas as vezes.
Ele fez parte de grupos de dança como NXG Juniors, Spirit Boys e ImmaBEAST. Ele participou do World of Dance Edmonton, Los Angeles e o maior, televiosionado nos Estados Unidos (maior competição de dança do mundo), World of Dance duas vezes, uma com o grupo ImmaBEAST e outra com sua melhor amiga, Taylor Hatala.
Ao entrar no grupo Now United, foi escolhido como capitão de dança pelo coreógrafo Kyle Hanagami, tendo a responsabilidade de ajustar as coreografias e formações quando Kyle não está presente.
Josh passou por momentos difíceis que o fizeram ameaçar desistir da dança, mas todos sabiam, inclusive ele, que isso não aconteceria. Como ele mesmo já disse, "Eu amo dança. É minha casa, meu coração e minha alma. E ninguém vai tirar isso de mim."
MÚSICA!
Até mesmo quando se dedicava inteiramente à dança, Josh sonhava em ser um artista completo. Ele se inspira muito em pessoas como Michael Jackson, Usher e Justin Bieber.
Em 2017, teve a oportunidade de fazer parte do primeiro grupo pop global do mundo, Now United. O criador do grupo, Simon Fuller, tinha em mente um grupo de 11 pessoas, uma de cada país. Ursula, mãe de Josh, é estado-unidense e se mudou para o Canadá depois de adulta, por isso, Josh fez audição para ser o representante dos Estados Unidos.
Durante o bootcamp, ele conheceu outro garoto que competia para a mesma vaga, Noah Urrea. Se tornaram melhores amigos desde o começo e fizeram Simon suar para escolher quem entrava no grupo. Noah foi o escolhido para representar o país, o que partiu o coração de Josh, que até chorou achando ter perdido sua oportunidade. Para a nossa sorte, Simon descobriu que ele nasceu e cresceu no Canadá e decidiu adicionar o país, para não perder a oportunidade de ter Josh no grupo.
Desde o começo ele se mostrou inseguro sobre sua voz, reforçando em diversos momentos que sua voz não é boa, mas sempre fazendo aulas e se esforçando para melhorar. As aulas começaram há alguns anos e em agosto de 2019 cantou pela primeira vez com uma lead line, em Crazy Stupid Silly Love. A partir daí começou a ter mais oportunidades de cantar nas músicas do grupo.
O dia 22 de janeiro foi importante para a nation e ele, sendo o dia que Josh postou seu primeiro cover, mostrando sua evolução e talento. O cover não só nos deu a oportunidade de apreciar a voz dele, como também inspira muita gente a continuar lutando por seus sonhos, como ele faz todos os dias.
Depois de ter entrado no grupo, Josh comprou seu primeiro violão e desde então vem aprendendo mais e mais. Além disso, recentemente ele começou a aprender piano, se mostrando talentoso com os instrumentos também.
Todos os dias vemos ele evoluir mais e mais, caminhando em direção ao sonho de ser uma grande estrela.

ABOUT HIM!
Joshua Kyle Beauchamp is a young Canadian, born March 31, 2000, in St. Albert, Alberta, Edmonton. Son of Ron and Ursula Beauchamp, he has two brothers, Jonah Beauchamp, older, and Jaden Beauchamp, younger.
As a child, Josh began to be bullied for being a boy in love with the art of dance rather than hockey, the dominant sport in Canada, as is expected of the country's boys. The prejudice and attacks for having fallen in love with an activity "made for girls" caused him to change schools. Arriving at the new high school, he thought he found a perfect group of friends, kids who took dance lessons like him, but that wasn't the case. The boys started to exclude him from everything, for no apparent reason, making him believe it was because of jealousy for the amount of competitions he won. He would say to Ursula: "Maybe I should do bad and be in last place so I can have friends", very memorable phrase for the fans.
Because of the marks of that past, Josh feels even closer to the group he is part of, Now United, as he has been accepted and welcomed by the entire team and members, being who he is.
He dreams of inspiring people to be who they are, find their passions and fight for their dreams. Today, he works to be the best and greatest artist and we know he will go far!

DANCE!
Josh's history with dance began at age five, when he started watching 'So You Think You Can Dance' with his mother, Ursula Beauchamp, every day. She realized the interest he had in art after seeing him so passionate about the show, especially the performances of Benji Schwimmer, and trying to copy Michael Jackson's moves in his video-cassette for Thriller.
So she decided to put him in a dance class for the first time at the age of six. For the first month of classes, Josh sat the entire time out of shame and fear of trying to copy the steps. When he finally got up the courage to try dancing, hip-hop ended up becoming his biggest passion.
About two years later, Josh started to have a lot of prominence locally, winning the title of youngest soloist to reach the finals in a specific competition.
Initially he was stuck with hip-hop, but as soon as he realized the need for other styles to consolidate his dream, he started taking ballet and contemporary classes at the age of thirteen.
With the help of choreographers he got the chance to go to Los Angeles for conventions and dance classes with great opportunities, leaving St. Albert to LA twice a month, further increasing his connection with his mother, who I accompanied him every time.
He has been part of dance groups such as NXG Juniors, Spirit Boys and ImmaBEAST. He has participated in the World of Dance Edmonton, Los Angeles and the largest, televised in the United States (largest dance competition in the world), World of Dance twice, once with the group ImmaBEAST and once with his best friend Taylor Hatala.
Upon joining Now United, he was chosen as dance captain by choreographer Kyle Hanagami, with responsibility for adjusting choreography and formations when Kyle is not present.
Josh went through difficult times that made him threaten to give up dancing, but everyone knew, including him, that it wouldn't happen. As he once said, "I love dancing. It's my home, my heart and my soul. And no one is going to take it away from me."
MUSIC!
Even when he devoted himself entirely to dancing, Josh dreamed of being a complete artist. He gets a lot of inspiration from people like Michael Jackson, Usher and Justin Bieber.
In 2017, he had the opportunity to be part of the world's first global pop group, Now United. The group's creator, Simon Fuller, had in mind a group of 11 people, one from each country. Ursula, Josh's mother, is from the United States and moved to Canada as an adult, so Josh auditioned to be the US representative.
During bootcamp, he met another boy who competed for the same spot, Noah Urrea. They became best friends from the start and made Simon sweat choosing who would join the group. Noah was chosen to represent the country, which broke Josh's heart, who even cried thinking he had lost his opportunity. From the beginning he was insecure about his voice, reinforcing at various times that his voice is not good, but always taking classes and striving to improve. Classes started a few years ago and in August 2019 she sang for the first time with a lead line, in Crazy Stupid Silly Love. From then onwards, he began to have more opportunities to sing in the group's songs.
January 22 was important for the nation and him, being the day that Josh posted his first cover, showing his evolution and talent. The cover not only gave us the opportunity to appreciate his voice, it also inspires a lot of people to keep fighting for their dreams, as he does every day.
After joining the group, Josh bought his first guitar and since then he has been learning more and more. Also, he has recently started to learn piano, proving himself talented with the instruments as well.
Every day we see him evolve more and more, moving towards his dream of being a big star.
